We want to make gas stations a relic of the past. Our reliance on petroleum is astounding, and must be stopped in order to leave enough resources for future generations of humans and animals.

Velocity Biofuels was founded in 2004 to provide biodiesel fuel to New York's Hudson Valley region. We were responsible for bringing the first commercial B100 to the area. We have designed and built several biodiesel processors, capable of producing thousands of gallons per month. Velocity is currently based in the mid-Hudson Valley, with partners in Massachusetts and Connecticut.

 
 

current projects

Feedstock research is a complicated task, muddled by corporate press releases and questionable science. We've started talking to farmers throughout the U.S. who are currently growing a variety of crops for feed and oil pressing, explicitly for biodiesel production.
